Vinyl

big’n - Musket/Tight One 7″ $5
The first release on Spontaneous Combustion Records! This is the third big’n release. Highly praised in such respectful publications such as MRR, CMJ, Truk Pez, Slam, and countless others. Crazy vocal wailing and grinding off-kilter guitar riffs that made Chicago famous.

big’n/Pencil - Split 7″ $5
Two of the Midwest’s finest do a double team on the unsuspecting listener. big’n dish out “Dirt Farmer,” their finest, most abrasive guitar driven cacophony yet. Pencil spew forth “Choice,”; a lovely number ranging from Slint-like subtly to Jesus Lizard like mayhem.

Billy Vera - The Mystic Sound of… LP $10
Before they started releasing punk records, Mystic Records put out records by 60s rock stars and a huge variety of artists of many different genres. This 1982 relic features 11 songs by long -time musician Billy Vera. Sealed original copies that have sat in storage for 25 years! Very limited supply.

Bone Cabal - S/T 12″ EP $15
A very rare and obscure early Mystic Records reelease from 1983. Five budget cuts! Sealed original copies unearthed from the remnants of the Mystic archives.

Corpus Delicti - The Joy of Living 12″ EP $15
Another very rare and obscure early Mystic Records reelease from 1983. Five song EP from 1984. More of a punk/new wave/gothy band, not a thrash band. Good stuff. Sealed original copies unearthed from the remnants of the Mystic archives.

Dehumanizers - Go Hollywood (RED VINYL) LP $18
A relatively unknown LP by the infamous Dehumanizers. This was recorded and released in very small quantities in 1990. Original pressing on red vinyl in plain white sleeve. No proper sleeves were ever produced for this album. I believe there were only 300 of these red ones pressed. VERY limted supply!
Dr. Know - The Original Group LP (GREEN VINYL) $18
Before the Plug In Jesus EP, Dr. Know with original singer Brandon Cruz recorded an album worth of material that didn’t see the light of day until years after Brandon left the band. It finally saw the light of day so the people can see how this great band begun. At the end of 2007 a box of original covers were found and enough colored vinyl records were pressed to fill them. 500 made, all on green vinyl. A Nardcore classic!

Eddie and the Subtitles - Fuck You Eddie (CLEAR VINYL) 7″ $5.50
Limited edition reissue on Frontier Records of this classic Southern California punk artifact. Two songs, including their classic “American Society”. A must-have 7″ for all fans of first generation American punk rock. Very limited edition on clear vinyl. These won’t be around long.
img_9888.jpg Eddie and the Subtitles - Fuck You Eddie (COLOR VINYL) LP $11
Greatest hits collection from the infamous and rather obscure Eddie and the Subtitles. Contains every song you’d actually want to own by them! Great old Los Angeles punk rock that has been unavailable for over two decades.
Eleven Sons- S/T 12″ EP $15
A mid-tempo punk EP on the infamous Mystic Records. Another very obscure and overlooked release that was pressed up in limited supply and sat forgotton while everyone bought RKL albums. Sealed original copies from the one and only 1983 pressing that have been unearthed after 25 years in storage!

Flower Leperds - The Original Group LP $18
The Flower Leperds in my opinion were the most original and also the best band ever to record for Mystic Records. This LP collects everything the band ever recorded in the Mystic Studios. Sealed original copies from 1990. Includes the legendary “Preachers Confession” among others. Owning this LP is mandatory for anyone who loves 1980s punk rock. I love this album so much I actually considered keeping all of these found copies for myself because I’ll probably wear through half of them in my lifetime with as much play as I give this record!
Insane War Tomatoes 7inch Insane War Tomatoes - I Rock You Suck 7″ $5
I unearthed these remaining copies from the Clown Ranch. The Insane Tomatoes were Gwar before there was Gwar! Featuring members of Dead Fink, Happy Toons, and other Suburban Chicago punk bands, IWT blend punk and rock, coming off like a punk rock Kiss. Gwar totally ripped these guys off with their over the top, toilet-humor laced stage show and crazy costumes! The record is on red vinyl (tomato colored!) and comes in a gatefold sleeve with at least one insert. A piece of DG punk history!

NOFX - Maximumrocknroll LP (BLACK/WHITE MARBLE VINYL) $18

Hardcore punk from 1990 on Mystic Records. A few sealed copies were dug out of the Mystic storage vault and are now available while supplies last, which won’t be long!

RKL - The Best of RKL (BLUE VINYL) LP $18
Legendary Nardcore band RKL first got their start, like many from that area, on Mystic Records. They put out a 7″, and album and were on a variety of compilations. This collection collects a good sampling from all that material in one handy LP. Limited edition of 300 pressed up to fill a box of found original sleeves!

The Stain - I Know the Scam LP $18
The Stain were a midwestern punk rock band who came out from under a rock in Toledo, OH just long enough to lay down some tracks for Mystic Records. This is their one and only LP that came out in 1986. Sealed original copies from 22 years ago unearthed in a raid of the Mystic Records storage shed and now made available for the very short amount of time they will last.

Toothpaste - Oh Yeah Come On 7″ $10
One of the best bands Chicago ever produced that you probably never heard of. Features members who did time in Naked Raygun among others. Two classic slices of Chicago punk from a band that deserved to be heard by a lot more people. These unplayed copies were unearthed by one of the band members and won’t last long. img_9887.jpg Various Artists - The Savages are Loose LP $18
Obscure Mystic Records compilation of mostly unknown Washington DC bands. Includes a really great song by the Platinum Slugs. These are original copies unearthed from the Mystic Records storage shed. Most are sealed, some are open with cut corner, all are unplayed original copies of this record that has been out of print for 20 years!

Various Artists - You Can’t Argue with Sucksess LP $20
About 25 years ago, the late Roger Rogerson from the Circle Jerks wandered into the Mystic Studios in Hollywood, CA with a pitch to then 50+ year old Doug Moody to help him finance a punk rock compilation. The end result was the first punk compilation on the Mystic Records label which opened the floodgates for the label to become one of the most prolific punk/hardcore labels for the next decade that followed. See where it all began. Includes F Troop, Crewd, Mad Society, Secret Hate, Even Worse and more. These are sealed original copies that sat in Doug Moody’s closet for a quarter century!
