I thought Raygun sucked as if they didn't care whether they played well or not. If I wasn't still high from the incredible 7 seconds set I would have been very disappointed in the show.

In 1992, Buzzmuscle released the "Assembler" single, which as I'm sure you're aware was stylized to look like a package of bacon. Later that same year The Bollweevils released the "Disassembler" single.

The insert test, after the usual cavalcade of thanks, concludes "and Buzzmuscle for showing the world of music that great packaging does not make a great record."

Seriously, I hold no ill will, I thought at the time and still think now that it was hilarious. Boy that was an entertaining practice when I brought that record in after stopping at Reckless just before.

Yeah the Bollweevils weren't bad, although I'm not sure I'll ever forgive them for releasing a single with the sole purpose of telling my band how much we sucked.

Gotta agree about the Blue Meanies, I expected another stupid ska band but as their set rolled on I was really drawn in. Good stuff, I liked the theatricality.

Nice pix too! Wish I could have been that close.
