		<description>My comment was no mroe cliche and dumb than the morons with their lettermans&#039; jackets running around here in their jock clothes like they were some sort of gang. I have to disagree with you also, aside from that first YOT record, I found none of those bands the least bit entertaining, and quite generic and derrivitave. Every song on that NYHC comp LP with the exception of the supertouch song, all sounded the same to me.

To each his own, you may like that stuff but I didn&#039;t and it didn&#039;t hold a candle to the bands like DYS and others of the first generation of hardcore.</description>

on another note i found your comment about &quot;the youth crew nonsense&quot; to be a bit of a cliche and sort of dumb. there were some great HC bands from that era...YOT, Judge, Side By Side..etc.......i knew those dudes first hand and still have contact with a few and there were some very sincere people in that scene that STILL are involved with HC unlike Mr. Smalley and the rest of the Boston crew....</description>
