It is good to see interest in this band, nowadays. Of course, I have to reference seeing them. It was 82 at the Whiskey. Opening band was the Circle Jerks. Jello was in rare form. Shaved his arms in a spiral effect. Stage diving and letting ppl sing with him. After the show was one of the best riots I have seen. The cops closed off Sunset Blvd. There were a wall of cops on one side and, you guessed it, a wall of Punks on the other. They were sizing us up when someone threw a bottle at them.....all hell broke loose. It was sooo punk to say “I like the Dead kennedy’s”….now it’s just standard.
