Someone at work let me listen to his Zwan CD. If you don’t know, Zwan is the new band of Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins. Ok, my thoughts…

What the fuck kind of stupid name is Zwan anyway?! I rank the name right up there with such drivel as Limp Bizkit. You couldn’t come up with anything better than Zwan?! Muscially it is actually rather enjoyable. Sure it sounds a hell of a lot like the pumpkins but how can you avoid that when yr figurehead is the same singer/guitar player. Also, David Pajo is in the band, and he was in SLINT! That ups their property value right there, SLINT were fucking amazing! The artwork on this CD is pretty fucking ugly. It reminds me of something from The Electric Company TV show. Remember that show? It is this funky looking retro 70s looking artowork. In small doses this cd is good, but listening to an album’s worth of material at once, one song kind of blends into the next. So if yr a big fan of Smashing Pumpkins (I was an average fan), you’ll likely really enjoy this. I’m sure it will be a big hit with the Q101 crowd, and it is a step above most of the crap that gets played on that station.

The guy who wrote this is my fucking hero. It sounds like I wrote it! I couldnt’ stop laughing.

1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?
When I was real young, it was Popeye but he wasn’t really a superhero. Batman would have been my favorite super hero then.

2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
I can’t think of anything off hand, my parents were pretty generous when I was a small kid. I do remember my sister getting a Spinout 360 and I was always really jealous of that.

3. What’s the furthest from home you’ve been?
California – twice, was the farthest in terms of miles goes.

4. What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to learn but haven’t yet?
I would have liked to learn programming, but I fear it is probably too late for me.

5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Tonite seeing the alphahottie. Tomorrow gotta buy a baby gift for a friend’s party on sunday, then pinball league at nite. Sunday me and the alphahottie are going to said party. I couldn’t ask for a better lineup as far as plans go.

Does anyone know where I put my cable to my digital camera? It is in my house somewhere but I’ll be damned if I can remember where the hell it is. I’ve been unable to find it.

I finally got home from work before midnight tonite. This has been a long long week but it all ends tomorrow. I thought tomorrow would never come! Today I was listening to some Insane Clown Posse mp3s at work and I have come to learn that none of the friends I talked to today like them, in fact their responses were pure hatred for the Clowns. Am I the only one who is down with the clown?!

I just learned the final 2 episodes of Birds of Prey will be on 2/19/03. I was beginning to think they weren’t going to show them. I can’t wait, though I am still bummed out that they killed a show that I really liked.
